Why D.O.P.E.?
In modern slang, "dope" is an adjective used to describe something impressive, high-quality, or very good (e.g., "That dog trainer is dope!"). But we also use it as an acronym: Dog Owner Professional Education - we train you to be your dog's favourite trainer!
6 years, 1000+ dogs, and fantastic results make us the home of holistic dog training.
We work exclusively 1-2-1 with clients and their families to help them put their dog at the heart of the home. Using modern, science-backed methods we create calm, thinking owners with real handling skills and training knowledge. Delivering happy, attentive dogs that also have a heap of character to match their wonderful behaviour.
We educate you on dog behaviour: how they think, process and act. Then we educate you how to keep you and your dog safe by creating a healthy bond guided by our mutli-level training program. By showing you how to teach new behaviours, develop your handling skills, and using dog-centric teaching methods we help you build or rebuild your dog to meet your needs and aspirations.
In exclusive 121 teaching sessions, you will soon handle and communicate effectively with your dog - making practice create healthy habits. In addition I also train your dog at an expert level; accelerating your achievement through effective methods and hands on examples. By adding our homework routines and scenario challenges; you will build real world results from the very first session.
Dog training should be playful and fun; we like to think we have the balance about right.
